Dudley Street Baptist Church (second) is built.

1853

[1852] Architect: Richard Upjohn. Designed in the Gothic style, the wooden building is located at 139 Dudley Street. The congregation subsequently merges with the Centre Street Baptist Church. The last service in the church is held on December 27, 1964 and the building is demolished as part of the Washington Park urban renewal project, and a neighborhood police station is built on the site in 1971.*
